I have visited several other Catteries around the Costa Blanca area when we were looking for boarding for our cats and none have been close to as lovely as the Dog Grove. So we drive from Valencia to Oliva whenever we go out of town. It is always a pleasure to get a warm welcome from Susan and Clinton. Thanks for all you do for our feline friends.

Sorry it’s taken a bit to put this in, but Gracie and Lola (my chihuahuas) had a great time at the Grove. They were looked after really well, and are looking forward to another visit in November.

My dog has memorized the route to the dog grove and as soon as we turn off the main road down by the orange groves she's up and excited in the car. She loves going there. Susan and Clinton are really great at what they do, they get to know each animal and its requirements and are always very caring and attentive. My dog is happy and exhausted after she has had a visit there. Your dog/s will always get plenty of exercise and be well taken care of throughout their stay. The dog grove is the best hotel for pets on the costa blanca!

Susan and Clinton provide a first class boarding service, and often at short notice. We have had to use them 4 times, this year, due to family emergencies. It's very clear that they really care for their little guests. Almaza has always returned home happy and doesn't sulk for days! We would have no hesitation in recommending them.

We discovered the Dog Grove on recommendation and haven't looked back since. In our minds our dog genuinely considers it a holiday to stay with Clinton and Sue ... she always returns to us invigorated and full of beans! Its a beautiful countryside location where the dogs have lovely individual runs in the Orange groves as well as plenty of good walks to enjoy. We were both new dog owners late in life and have valued the tips and advice Clinton has given us when we have asked him which had made Ambar's life better. So many thanks!
We had actually never checked your web site out before so thought it was about time we gave a few comments.
Our late Cat Sadie also stayed at the Dog Grove so we also have experience of the first class facilities they have too for the Cats.
Nice people who really care. Recommended without hesitation!

Have just finally calmed down two very excited dogs after collecting them from a long weekend at the Dog Grove. This was their third visit and clearly they have had a wonderful time, not sure they wanted to come home, they kept jumping out of the car to slobber Clinton!! Pepper and Scrappy are not used to spending time with people outside the family, Pepper is particularly nervous but I think we can safely say Clinton and Susan are obviously "family" now.

We just want to say that this cattery is the best one we have ever used, our cats are so happy and healthy when we pick them up. The care and attention that Susan and Clinton give our cats is so obvious when we drop them off, they immediately ignore us and go straight to Susan and Clinton for cuddles. We would never leave our cats anywhere else and hope to be using The Dog Grove for many years to come as we go back to the UK fairly regularly. Their love of animals is so obvious, one of our cats suffers with health problems, but she is always so well when we pick her up. Thank you both for the exceptional way you care for our beautiful 3 cats, we never worry when they are with you.

Hi Susan & Clinton,
A massive thank you for looking after our 2 dogs Kiera(Spanial) & Sam(Doberman). I came to visit the kennels and explain how Sam was frightened of strangers especially men both dogs were with me that day Susan & Clinton came out to the car to meet them Clinton sat in the back with the dogs he never touched Sam but made a fuss of Kiera when i turned around Sam was giving Clinton kisses i was amazed as it takes Sam a long time to trust people this totally put me at ease about leaving my dogs with Susan & Clinton.
This was also the first time the dogs had been in kennels, if i need to go away i now have the perfect place to leave Kiera & Sam and feel totally relaxed about it.

Hello Susan & Clinton
I'm afraid that I have some news for you that is not too good. Due to an unexpected turn of events we are all returning to Cornwall on the 26th May 2013 and so will be leaving our dogs at a local kennels in Cornwall for our holiday in June. This was all totally unexpected and I do apologize very much for having to cancel, dates already booked with you.
We appreciate the care given to Georgie, Benny & Otis whilst they have been in your care at the Kennels and they loved the Ritz kennel, I can truthfully say that yours has been the best kennels that any of our dogs have ever stayed in, here or in the UK.

Thank you so much Susan & Clinton for taking care of our three Golden Retrievers while we were away for a break.
Although always happy to come home again we could see that they were well cared for, happy and clean. Benny, unfortunately had a skin problem which needed attention daily plus medication; I was a bit concerned to be giving Susan & Clinton this problem, but they were not at all bothered and his skin was much better on collecting him.
A very big thank you also for the large kennel and their ensuite area!
We will certainly recommend The Dog Grove to our friends.

I had to put my dog Buster and my cat Sere into kennels for the first time in their lives. Sere is not a problem a very laid back puss cat. Buster, however, is a very nervous dog who is frightened of everything, but when frightened he becomes aggressive. He also has medical problems and has to be given medication twice a day. I went round several kennels but when I met Susan and Clinton knew I had struck gold. I can only say that when I went to collect them at the end of their stay I found a very happy dog freely and joyfully giving Clinton licks and love in abandon. It was truly wonderful to see. Buster now has two other people he trusts and loves, and I know that I will never have to worry about kennels again.
As for Sere, she was so happy that she even did her tickle my tummy trick on Clinton, and he fell for it.
Susan , Clinton, thank you, you are both very special people.

I would like to post my experience and mostly that of my two ten year old dogs who have just returned from spending 11 days at "The Dog Grove" Kennels.
One of my dogs is very afraid of men, as her first 6 months of life were spent in garbage pails and in the woods, and usually doesn't get along very well in strange places. It took us years to teach her love. WELL, to my delight and surprise when I went to fetch them yesterday, their joy with Clinton as he greeted me at the
gate was already evident. As we went to leave she said her good byes to him with "kisses" like I have rarely seen her give before. Both of them were obviously
very happy with their stay and for me that says it all! Both Susan and Clinton have been delightful and very caring towards me as well. I received emails with
news most days and I thought they must have washed everything before I got there but, not the case, they just keep everything, dogs, cages, bedding and surroundings very clean!
I would like to highly recommend this family cared for kennel. They are excellent with the important details of giving the animals that extra love that they need when
"away from home", were very careful to follow the diet and medications of one of them who has heart problems and well, I just can't say enough.
If you need to leave your family pet behind while you are on vacation, this is the place to do it. I will certainly repeat every time I need to with my eyes closed.
